Element Energy’s latest battery research published in Battery Power
Posted on July 20, 2012The latest issue of Battery Power Magazine includes a featured article by Element Energy and Axeon on the cost and performance of batteries for electric vehicles. The article (from page 9) examines the price and performance characteristics of today’s battery technology, and explores the potential evolution of battery technology to 2030. The article is based on findings from Element Energy’s recent work for the Committee on Climate Change. The future cost and performance of batteries for electric vehicles will be a key factor influencing the attractiveness of low carbon vehicles, and this article highlights the role of regulations and incentives in supporting this emerging market.
