Hydrogen transport best practice guide published

Posted on

Element Energy recently published a best practice guide for city / regional authorities seeking to support the uptake of hydrogen transport.

A number of vehicle manufacturers are now offering fuel cell electric vehicles or have announced plans to do so in the near future, targeting regions in which a compelling offer can be made to customers (e.g. those with refuelling infrastructure in place, incentives to encourage adoption of zero emission vehicles, etc.). The best practice guide explores the challenges facing the sector and describes a range of mechanisms available to local authorities to enhance the case for customers to choose fuel cell electric vehicles.

The guide was produced following a series of expert symposium workshops run by Element Energy as part of the HyTEC project. We are grateful to all participants and to the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking for supporting this work.

Both a full version of the guide and an executive summary are available for download.
