What We Did

Client:	East of England Energy Group and the East of England Development Agency
Client brief:	Identify the key opportunities and threats for the East of England in CCS.
Our solution:	Element Energy provided a high level assessment of the opportunities for and threats to carbon capture, transport and storage in the East of England. We examined the opportunities for CO2 capture, transport and storage in and around the East of England, an area that may prove attractive for projects in this field.
Result:	The study stimulated an informed debate within EEEGR, EEDA, and the wider community of stakeholders, about the suitability of CCS in the region, and how CCS opportunities should be maximised.
